My Approach

I work primarily within a strength-based model with a range of techniques derived from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy and Trauma Focused Therapy. This allows me to structure my therapy approach according to clients’ needs and therapeutic goals.

When working with couples, I tend to use Gottman Method Couples Therapy to help couples in increasing closeness and friendship behaviours, addressing conflict productively, and building a life of shared meaning together. 

With this in mind, I strive to help my clients in getting a better understanding about their needs and prioritise effective ways of responding to their life challenges.
